Tropic Marin NITRIBIOTIC 50 ml

A combination of probiotic and nitrifying bacteria in a single product to improve water quality and strengthen the immune systems of fish and shrimp. The nitrifying bacteria effectively initiate nitrification, the process of breaking down toxic ammonia into non-toxic nitrate. The purple bacteria oxidize toxic hydrogen sulfide to non-toxic sulfur and sulfate. Probiotic bacteria and yeasts have a proven positive effect on the health and well-being of fish and shrimp, especially during rearing.

Shake the bottle vigorously before each use! To ensure the bacteria in the aquarium can thrive, switch off UV systems, ozonizers, and protein skimmers before dosing and only switch them back on 3-4 hours after dosing. Tropic Marin® Nitribiotic can be added to the inlet of a biological filter or directly to the aquarium water.
Attach the enclosed tubing to the syringe and use the syringe to measure the desired amount of Tropic Marin® Nitribiotic. Air drawn into the tubing and syringe when drawing up the syringe does not affect the dosage. The lower edge of the plunger always indicates the correct dosage, even if, due to the drawn-up air, the desired amount of Tropic Marin® Nitribiotic is only in the tubing and not in the syringe chamber. The drawn-in air is used to empty the tubing during dosing.
Start with a single dose of 1 ml per 100 liters of aquarium volume. A subsequent weekly dose of 1 ml per 200 liters of aquarium volume maintains and renews the probiotic effect.
Maximum dosage: An overdose of Tropic Marin® Nitribiotic up to twice the recommended dosage is harmless.
