Tropic Marin TRIPLE BUFFER 250 g

The triple action of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer brings the pH value into the optimal range between pH 8.1 and 8.4, increases and stabilizes the carbonate hardness and simultaneously supplies the marine aquarium with essential trace elements.


- Helps reliably and quickly when the pH value is outside the recommended range of 8.1 – 8.4, e.g. in case of over-acidification due to excretions and decomposition processes.
- Counteracts this effect when precipitation has reduced the alkalinity and thus the buffering capacity of the water.
- Provides essential trace elements when their levels have decreased due to absorption and precipitation.
- Reduces stress for all aquarium inhabitants by creating more stable water conditions.
- Suitable for aquariums stocked with saltwater fish, soft corals, LPS, SPS, other filter feeders and/or crustaceans.


Ingredients
Carbonates, hydrogen carbonates and trace elements


Check the carbonate hardness and pH value of the aquarium water.

Recommended water parameters:
Carbonate hardness: 6 - 9 °dH
pH value: 8.1 - 8.4
 
If the water parameters are below the recommended values, add 1 level scoop of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer per 75 liters of aquarium water weekly (or daily if necessary) until the desired pH and alkalinity values ​​are reached. Sprinkle the contents of the scoop evenly onto the water surface and stir the water simultaneously. 1 level scoop of Tropic Marin® Triple Buffer in 75 liters of aquarium water increases the carbonate hardness to 1.4 °dH. A carbonate hardness of 9 °dH should not be exceeded.
 
To avoid precipitation, TropicMarin® Triple Buffer should not be added to the aquarium at the same time as calcium supplements.
